Script Description
Sometimes, being behind the monitor and looking at the charts of currency pairs in the MetaTrader 4 terminal, we just get used to the template that the developers provided us by default. Or we have chosen a template for ourselves, which has become boring for a long time.
This script will add variety to your trading and offer you several author’s chart design templates from our team.
Script settings
The script has only one setting, “Select your template”, which expands a list of 7 different templates:
- 1 Dark Template – dark theme number 1
- 2 Dark Template – dark theme number 2
- 3 Dark Template – dark theme number 3
- 1 Light Template – light theme number 1
- 2 Light Template – light theme number 2
- 3 Light Template – light theme number 3
- Generate Random – random selection of the colors of your template.
An example of how this script works
Having transferred the script to the chart, we choose one of seven template options. As a result, you will see the following design:
1 Dark Template
2 Dark Template
3 Dark Template
1 Light Template
2 Light Template
3 Light Template
Generate Random
This version of the template generates random colors for both candles and the background of the chart. As a result, every time you apply this template, you will see a new design. Perhaps this method will help you choose exactly your option for displaying the chart.
Saving a template
After you have chosen the template you like, you need to save it in order to be able to load it at the right time. To do this, you just need to right-click on the graph, select “Template” and “Save Template”.
By the way, if you want to apply the default template you are interested in to all currency pairs in your terminal, you just need to save it with the name “default.tpl” and then a new chart will already be opened with this template.
